Can Resistance Bands Target the Abs?

Question:

Has anyone worked out with any type of resistance bands to target the abs. Does it really help?
I wanted to purchase the new thing called Kor flex and was wondering if resistance bands can really help in reducing fabby tummy.
Any kind of tips or input is really appreciated.
Thanks

Resistance bands are great to incorporate into an ab workout. I would suggest Billy Blanks’ BootCamp Elite video Rock Solid Abs. He uses resistance bands that are pretty cheap ($15 a pair) and the entire workout series is designed around the bands. Crunches and abdominal twists are good, but you have to incorporate cardio as well. You can do thousands of crunches and have the sexiest abs laying below a layer of fat, so do at least 30 minutes of cardio with your workout (BootCamp Elite is great for cardio). Good luck!
